Brooks Academy was founded in 1982, with the assistance of Na Píobairí Uilleann. It's aims are to encourage the dancing of sets as a social activity, and to provide classes where they may be learned. They also organise ceili dances where the music is played appropriately and good banter between musician and dancer is order of the day.
